Opening Photo CD Scans
Photo Cd does not work at the desktop level. In Photoshop CS2 or earlier choose

File/Open- set Show to "all readable files"
    
choose PHOTO_CD
choose IMAGES
choose image desired select resolution desired
select source - original form
select - destination (Color Space)
  • The source may be determined by pushing the info button.
  • RGB is preferable if the destination is photographic film or unknown.
  • Acquire, a photoshop plug-in that opens, crops & color corrects PCD's, is available via Kodak's web page.
  • For batch processing to .TIF, .PICT or .EPS files Access software is available via Kodak or your service provider. For Windows 2000 go to IrfanView /
