LightJet Prints - over 10x15
- TIF RGB format with no additional layers, paths, channels or compression.
- 4096 x 6144 pixels for 16 x 20 or larger - minimum recommended 2048 x 3072 pixels.
Digital Prints - up through10x15
at 150-300 ppi ..Jpg or Tif-
Prepare canvas @300 ppi for image placement or to size work
File Preparation charges will be applied if sizing or placement on a page is needed.
It is best to start with appropriately sized scans. Increasing size in Photoshop is not a good practice.
Exceeding 300 ppi is counter productive.
Giclée, Banners & Posters
150 ppi RGB. JPG also TIFs with no additional paths, layers, channels or compression
Powerpoint - under: File/ page setup / choose: sized for slides - if you are importing graphs from other programs. Use edit / paste special/ as pict. Embed all non standard fonts.
Scans or raster files as RGB - .JPG Horizontal preferred, compress under 5Mb -We can convert .Tif; .Eps or Pdf
slide ratio width to length is 1:1.5
For projection should be approximately 1024 x 1536 pixels
for reproduction or 35 mm negatives should be approximately 2048 x 3072 pixels.
Large Format Negatives & transparencies
Horizontal; flattened;uncompressed RGB Tif - 4096 x 6144 pixels for 4 x 5
6144 x 8196 pixels for 8 x 10
